The incredible versatility of the C-7070 WIDE ZOOM gives photographers an unbridled opportunity for creativity thanks to a high quality 4x optical zoom lens that can extend from 27mm to 110mm. The camera has an impressive 7.1 million pixel resolution and can capture images with an extremely high standard of clarity and definition thanks to an Extra-low Dispersion (ED) element and two aspherical lenses.
With a magnesium-alloy body the C-7070 WIDE ZOOM gives exceptional all-round performance and its large focal range means that it’s perfect for users who need extremely wide viewing angles for landscapes or panoramas. It also has extreme close-up capabilities and can focus from just 3cm away using the Super Macro mode.

For the first time in an Olympus compact camera, moving subjects can be captured in razor-sharp quality thanks to a special 143-point dual autofocus system with Predictive AF. Images are displayed on a moveable, multi-angle 4.5cm/1.8” Sunshine LCD monitor. Users have the flexibility to choose from automatic settings – which include seven scene programmes – or to use full manual control for extra creativity and control. The camera also has video with sound capabilities. In SHQ mode you can record at 30fps for up to 20 seconds.

A large range of accessories are also available for the C-7070 WIDE ZOOM, allowing the user to broaden their photographic horizons even further. They include an underwater case, lens converters and external flash units.
