DiMAGE Z3 ยังมีฟังก์ชั่นการทำงานอื่นๆ ที่สมบูรณ์แบบเหมือนกับกล้องดิจิตอลระดับไฮเอนด์ตระกูล A เช่น ระบบป้องกันภาพสั่นไหว Konica Minolta CCD-shift Anti-Shake System ที่นำมาใช้<<Selection in Document>>เป็นครั้งแรกในกล้องตระกูล Z สามารถใช้ความเร็วชัตเตอร์ได้ต่ำกว่าปรกติ 2-3 สตอป ใช้ประโยชน์ได้ดีมากเมื่อซูมไปที่ช่วงเทเลทางยาวโฟกัสสูง สามารถถ่ายภาพให้คมชัดได้โดยไม่ต้องใช้ขาตั้งกล้อง

เลนส์ซูมออฟติคัล 12 เท่าที่ใช้เป็นเลนส์คุณภาพสูง GT APO ออกแบบมาสำหรับกล้องดิจิตอลโดยเฉพาะ ให้ภาพที่คมชัด คอนทราสท์สูง มีชิ้นแก้วพิเศษแบบ AD (anomalous dispersion) และเลนส์ Aspheric 2 ชิ้น ลดความคลาดทรงกลมได้ ลดการบิดเบือนที่ช่วงเทเลโฟโต้
