นกหัวขวานจิ๋วท้องลาย Speckled Piculet นกหัวขวานจิ๋วท้องลาย นกหัวขวานจิ๋วท้องลาย มีขนาด 10 ซม. ลำตัวเล็ก ปากหนาเล็กและแข็งแรง หางสั้น มีจุดดำใหญ่บนสีขาวครีมที่ด้านล่างลำตัว มีแถบสีดำสลับกับสีขาวที่หน้าท้องและที่หาง ด้านบนลำตัวสีเขียวอมเหลือง นกหัวขวานจิ๋วท้องลาย มักพบหากินรวมกับนกชนิดอื่นหรือวาลามี bird-waves อาหารได้แก่ แมลงเล็ก ๆ นกหัวขวานจิ๋วท้องลาย เป็นนกประจำถิ่นที่พบได้บ่อย อาศัยในป่าเบญจพรรณและป่าผสมผลัดใบ ป่าไผ่ ตั้งแต่ตีนเขาจนถึงระดับ 1800 เมตร ทางภาคเหนือและภาคตะวันตก |
